Default Cutting the bottom of the bellhousing? Can I? Should I?

I just got a new moroso oil pan installed and it hangs lower than the factory pan and am having issues getting the header in. I think my only option is to cut the bottom of the bellhousing.

Can I cut the bottom of the this without any issues? Do ppl cut them out for cooling or anything?

I know the 480L0E doesn't have a bottom part, but maybe the case is stronger.

Any thoughts?

Default

I really do not know if it is/is not a good idea, but I would not cut it as I think it would weaken the housing
Just my $0.02, Johnny
