The kit already raises line pressure theres no need to do it in the tune at all.You are looking fora problem if you continue to drive the car.As far as the washers go i dont use any of the washers in the accumulator that way you dont have such a violent shift at light throttle the shift firmess is progressive with throttle position.

To much line pressure is not a good thing, you run the risk of breaking parts like a band or blowing the lugs out of the input drum or so on.If it were me i would not run it till you changed your tune.

I don't use any washers anymore in mine. I tried one once and it cracked one of the pistons because it was shifting too hard just like you are explaining.

DO IT THE RIGHT WAY. Take out the washers (spacers). ZERO OUT the shift firmness tables. You are doing it backwards. Don't use the computer tune to make it shift harder. The kit addresses accumulation, and line pressure issues when installed correctly. It will give you smooth shifts at part throttle and the shifts getting firmer with more throttle. When you get one of my kits, I NEVER offer the spacers. I work with the separator plate holes sizes to "match" the torque converter, rear end gear ratio, and how you drive. With the Vigilante 3,500 rpm stall, I would drill the 2nd gear feed hole in the separator plate to .096" - .099". Third gear feed to .110" - .116". Fourth to .120". 3-2 feed .110" - .120". Band release down to .082". This will give you a firmer WOT second gear shift, a firmer third gear shift, and a slightly firmer fourth gear shift, and a quicker 3-2 downshift.
