4L80E Install / PCM for Less Harness / 4th Gen Camaro

Well... I finally got my 4l80e installed in the Camaro. Im glad i went with the conversion. 4l80e is a great transmission. Car shifts great at full throttle with my 404 ci LS2 Stroker motor.
I used a PCMFORLESS 4l80e Conversion harness. Its a plug & play harness that connects to the 4l80e transmission. ( Requires HP Tuners software or other Tuning software ).

i used the pcmforless conversion harness & it works great. Its a plug & play 4l80e conversion harness & it requires no wire cutting or slicing. You just need to down load a 4l80e transmission truck file after deleting the 4l60e transmission file & retune with HP Tuners software.
We had to cut the ears off each side of the 4l80e bell housing to gain clearance for the headers.
We also had to clearance an area under the floor ( tunnel brace) to gain clearance for the 4l80e main electrical connector.
I used a Midwest Chassis 4l80e conversion transmission crossmember...& i also used a Midwest Chassis Double dropped Torque arm mount / Driveshaft loop. ( So i have more clearance for a Mufflex 4" Cat Back OR Custom True Duals that ran ABOVE & straight threw the Trans cross member / Double dropped Torque arm mount ).
We installed a 1350 transmission Yoke & had to shorten the driveshaft. I also installed a B&M SFI Flex plate, ARP Bolts & a Billet 4l80e Lock up Stall converter.
You will also need a custom Transmission Dip Stick tube...

Madman's custom dipstick tubes are bent to fit 4th generation F-bodies with 4L80E , TH-350 or TH-400 transmissions. These have NHRA required locking cap and the appearance is identical to GM 4l60E dipsticks. Our proprietary design allows for easy fill, unlike braided steel hose style dip sticks. Kit comes with dipstick tube, dipstick, and grommet for transmission.
For ease of installation, Madman recommends that dipsticks be installed during transmission installation.
Fits 1993-2002 Camaros and Firebirds.

Have any of you guys used this PCM For Less Harness in a 4l60e to 4l80e swap ? Is this harness truely a plug & play harness with no other electrical splicing into the computer required ?
Do you guys have any other info on this 4L60E To 4L80E Swap ?

Cruise control and gear shift indicators work just as they did in stock form! Converts any 4L60e, 4L65e, or 4L70e to 4l80e. You will need to be able to remove some transmission related codes. Most tuning software packages can do this, if you cannot we will remove the codes for you for $25 + Shipping. Base transmission startup tunes available for $100 + Shipping.

So. has anyone used this harness? wondering if it makes things easier.
I bought EFIlive so not sure if i would need this one, or use the speartech one deal and with that.

Not sure but i bought this and will hopefully be installing my 4l80e here in the next month.
I chose to go this route instead of hacking up my factory wire harness. Hopefully it installs easy as they claim.

You'll also most likely need to clearance for the trans fluid feed and return lines if using AN fittings. I also had to massage (with a hammer) where the dipstick ran up so that it doesn't press up against the body. I used the speartech harness and hptuners bin swap and it's worked flawlessly.
