Default Looking for advise on buying 4l80e?

My 3rd gear is slipping bad, any ideas on where to buy a rebuilt 4l80 that will handle 500 RWHP with ease for my turbo sierra 2500 2wd.

Jake's Performance

Sounds like your 3rd gear clutches are going out. At your power level, on a truly stock 4L80E they will die out pretty quickly. I work for Jake, and we do a few hydraulic circuit modifications to dual feed the third gear clutches and greatly improve their power capacity. I could write out a huge fancy paragraph if you'd really like me to, but I'll just say that we've spent much more time researching the 4L80E than any other aftermarket transmission company, it's what we do. Drop the shop a line on Monday if you'd like, either me or Mike will pick up. (940) 458-5564
