Default Improper downshift above 50mph?

Car is stock 2001 trans-am with a 4l60e. The problem is when im going above 50mph and jab the gas (wot) it does not seem to downshift enough rpms only jump to 2,500rpm. but if im doing below 50mph it does perfect downshifts.

Heres a vid of what its doing remember it only does this above 50mph and this is wot pedal to the floor.

It's worth a shot. Try it. Also have you checked the fluid level. All connectors plugged into the Trans. And try the reset first
