If I come across wrong or its just a dumb question.... my bad... just wanted to make sure. Or maybe if its a no brainer some one could point out the link where i can find the answer....

What style is the 2001 4l60e? Was it used with a Gen III motor or the 4.3L or even the L31?
If it was a Gen III used trans all you need is a dished 4.8/5.3 flexplate and shorter crank bolts.
If it was a Gen III used trans all you need is a dished 4.8/5.3 flexplate and shorter crank bolts.

The you need the dished flexplate and shorter crank bolts. You will also what the little side plastic trans covers. They cover around the starter and the drivers side of the trans bellhouse.
You can get the used most wrecking yards should have them. But most time they are throw them out.
