Jake's does a pretty neat bell, but its an in-house design for a specific bell.

We DO NOT sell the Reid bellhousing setup seperately, only as a built unit.

We have the adapter ring made.

There is MUCH more to the process than just an adapter ring. The case must be cut similarly to installing a Ultrabell, however there is some very intricate machine work that must be done to the front pump to fit the ring accurately.

I charge $900 additional to do this to a build. $300 of that is the bellhousing, $300 is the ring, and $300 is machining time. We don't make any profit off this, we do it as a courtesy to our customers who need this setup.

I know this is over a year old but am wondering if Reid has a bellhousing to bolt the 80e to the back of a Ford Windsor?

Reid makes a SuperBell that will bolt to the Ford Windsor. They do not make a bellhousing that natively bolts to the 4L80E pump.
The 4L80E pump must be machined to accept anything attaching to the front of it.
We machine it, install an adapter ring, and then install a Reid Superbell.

So this ring that you mentioned goes between the pump and the Reid Superbell?
