had a buddy with one in his '01 Z28 and he went through 2 trannies. The second being a built 4l60e. When the second broke the converter had self destructed. Didnt have first-hand experience, but i know he wouldnt recommend one to anyone. After he got his vigilante he had no more problems.

I'm really thinking about the 9" for a TH350. They are about 1000.00 or so.

For that price I would look at Neil Chance Convertors. When he priced convertors for me, a weld together was around 1000.00, and the bolt together was 1600.00

whats up badz. i run a 5500 coan in a turbo 350. it was 800.00 new. by looking at you pic of the z, apparently you use a trans-brake, but i foot brake mine with a small block no spray with a best of a 1.52 60 foot in a nova. i have a dacco 3500 stall i bought new last season that i took out in place of this one with 5 runs on it. it picked me up a little but both convertors are awesome. i see you on HRG.COM you better beat that heavy truck. i saw him run at hmp and its pretty decent. BTW, what truck do you tow with because i think i saw you going back to houston from san antonio track at the fi blowout.
