Default feels like i have to hold car back from going!

car idles fine but it feels like i'm holding it back while in gear.. if i let off the brake the car will go about 10-15mph on it's own while idling. problem even exists in reverse but, never raises rpm.. is this normal or is torque converter gonig bad?
the car is a 2000 WS6 with 4L60E

if you have an aftermarket cam and a stock stall it sure as hell will.

what is you RPM while idling. if you have a vacuum leak it could cause that also.

my stock with stock converter idling around 800rpm would do that, not a problem with the current 3200 converter.

its not that its going bad its just very tight. this problem is ALOT worse if you have any vacuum leaks or anything else that would cause a higher idle.

If you've disconnected your battery or reflashed your computer you will have lost your learned idle settings and your PCM compensates by raising idle in certain circumstances, causing this effect.

like i said sounds like a normal tight stock converter.

the stall will cure this problem.
