If i use the 4l60e dipstick and tube is it going to read the correct level for the 4l80E????

I dont want to have to much or not enough trans fluid in the new trans lol....

I guess if someone has a 4l80e dipstick sitting around and could measure from the rib on the tube (where the tube seats on the trans) to the full mark on the dipsick that would work also...

I have heard that the full level is where the gasket is between the pan and trans.....

Hope this is good info lol...

Fluid level should be right at the top of the pan (at the gasket)...
