Hi

i have 4l60e whith vacuum body full manual

the trans wont take 1st gear but as soon as i put it in 2nd it rolls 3rd and 4th is fine
the car is standing on bulks btw, iīm not driving it

i use HPT for tuning and logging,i can test the solenoids in the scanner, when i press 1st it rattles also if i press 2nd it rattles, the others is just one small click.

what could it be
1-2 solenoid failure
or is something stuck

what is happening in the tranny when this is occured if it wont take the 1st

i just got the tranny out of rebuild

had some leak between forward clutch and 3-4 the rebuild guy thought and all clutches got toasted because of that
it also acted strange when in 1st it was a bit stuck like it was in 2 gears at the same time, he thought it was then in 1st and 3rd
can that still be the problem here or can it be soemthing else here here is one who had similuar problem https://ls1tech.com/forums/automatic...-gear-now.html

it looks like it takes the 1st one moment then not the other, more likely to take the 1st when itīs cold then hot.

any ideas

could it be some tuning issue because itīs vacuum mod. full manual or...

been on the forum search for the last hour

This is a AUTO swappe from M6 i already rewrote the PCM from stock Auto tune

i donīt have no Codes while running

donīt know but can this be any electric issues like fuses or V related

I relised now

i have my trans plug plugged in and i have not done any changes to block out the solenoids in the tune.

i either need to block out in the DTC all shift solenoids, or just unplug the plug RIGHT!!!

could this be my problem ?

Sorry that I cannot help you; I know a lot about the regular valve body 4L60E, but have no idea about a manual valve body.
You might indicate the source of your valve body and perhaps one of the sponsors or other experts can then answer you soon.
