Random Idea with Segment Swap

Random Idea with Segment Swap
I have been researching how to segment swap for the 4l80e i will be installing in my camaro soon. However, I got to thinking. I have a 2002 5.3l with a 4l60e. If i did a segment swap on it, i could put the stock camaro segment in it thus keeping the converter locked up on decel? Would that work?
Not sure if i really need to do that as i feel like the tow haul takes care of converter lock issues. This leads me to my next question. When i do a segment swap for my camaro and the 4l80e, couldn't i put the tow/haul tables in there? This way you can have the converter locked up more aggressively? I haven't driven the pickup lately but seems like the convert stays locked in 4th gear if i remember correctly.
Just some random thoughts i had today.

The Camaro 4L60E segment will work if you modify the wire harness:
- add relay to invert the sense of the 2-3 shift solenoid signal,
- repin TCC PWM to be controlled by the TCC On/Off signal,
- remove the 3-2 control signal.
