Default 4WD 6L80 to 2WD

Can a 2009 4WD 6L80 be converted to a 2WD for a reasonable cost? The 2WD transmissions are hard to find. I want to replace the 96 LT1 and 700R4 that I have in my 41 Chev.

I know for the 4x4 to 2wd 4l80e toy have to take the trans completly apart and change the shaft. the 4x4 is different then the 2wd , then you have to get a tailhousing.

im sure the 6l is the same , but i dont know for sure

im in the same boat right now , been looking for about 4 months here and cant find a later model 2wd 4l80e

Search www.car-part.com for a 2wd 1500 Silverado truck 6l80 use 2007-up. You'll spend more money converting it.
