Default 95 4l80e behind LSX

Ok guys im doing a 5.3 swap on my s10. I bought a 4l80e off of CL that was from a 1995 chevy van. I already know about the whole top bellhousing crap. (Just run 5 bolts) but besides the 6.0 flex plate should it work fine? Also what trans yoke would i need ive heard a TH400. (I plan on using a slip yoke). Also could i use my neutral safety switch off of my 2000 s10 4l60e? Not sure what exact model the 80e is but it has both trans cooler fittings right next to each other.... after alittle bit of research i came to the conclusion that i have to swap to the longer shift shaft because this trans has the short shaft. People say its easy swapping them but i cant find a tutoorial anywhere/directions. Also could someone please point me in the right direction to the part#s I need to make all this crap work. Ps. Im getting my harness custom built so that isnt the issue.

I have a long shaft ill send you for the short one. If you pull the pan you can pretty much see how the shaft goes in. Just a pin that holds it and a nut.

You have to get a th400 slip yoke which is the same but there are a few different ones to choose from depending on your output shaft.
