Arrow Built 4l60E Running Hot.....

Just finished a cam swap in my father's 02 z28, car has been driving fine for about a week!

These last few days i have noticed the trans temp climbing, the weather here is about 55-60f and on a drive home from work (5-7miles) the trans temp climbed to 200+....

Is there anyway to see if the trans fluid is making it to the trans cooler? when i put my hand on the lines/cooler they are cold, i would assume with the the temps being 200+ the lines/cooler would be warm?

Any help would be great as the car is getting tuned the 29th!

Thanks!

Well, after looking and checking some things out I found one of the tranny lines were kinked!

Fixed the kink and took the car for a 40min ride, temps never went past 145!

Sometimes the process of asking for help forces you describe the problem in more detail, at which time the answer becomes self-evident.

Hoping you didnt do any Damage the oil goes through the cooler to cool yes but on the way back is used to lube the planets and bushings ect. So kinked line equals no lube
