Took my car to a friends house, that also owns a 4th gen t/a to see if he can help me find wth is wrong with my tranny flaring on the 2nd to 3rd shift n a leak. Well he gets under the car and first thing we noticed is theres a hose connected to the vent tube going to a niple recirculating oil back in the tranny. Why would someone do that?? also that hose was drenched in tranny oil.

I mostly fixed my flare by overfilling with 1 extra measuring cup of fluid...and a shift kit.
