Exclamation HELP!! Converter question

okay, 2000 z28 5.7 76mm front mount turbo with a built 4l60e in it. had a stock converter in it and I'm pretty sure the converter blew...anyways, i put down a little over 600 to the wheels and just wondering what would be a good converter and stall for me...it has 3.73 gears...figuring I'll spend $700-800 on one... suggestions??

If the converter blew you may need more than just a converter, you may need a new flexplate and transmission.

FTI or PTC will custom build a converter for you, FTI runs about $700 for a billet single disk, that's what I have. Circle-D can also hook you up.

I just talked to fti yesterday for my car. 2006 gto. Ls2 with 72mm turbo 530rwhp and 99% daily driver with limited track visits a year. They recommended their 9.5" billet triple disc 2800-3600 stall for $1029. Their single disc is $749 I believe. He said i'd prbably want to stay 3000-3200 through if its primarily a street driven vehicle.
