4L60E Transmission Rebuild Recommendations?
Hey guys,
So, I will be rebuilding an a4 this summer. I need a complete rebuild kit, but do not know exactly which rebuilds are the best. It's going in an LS1 Trans Am. The Trans Am was dyno'd to 450 HP... from the previous owner. I owned one before and it dyno'd 350 and the new one is definitely more than 350. What would you guys recommend? I have a 12 bolt moser with 3.55 gearing. I am open to any recommendations and what all of you guys would recommend, I will take into consideration.
Thanks
Thai

Here are some of the rebuild kit questions in which I have been involved:

First, be sure you are doing this for your own satisfaction and education. Considering the cost of special tools and a typical 50% success rate on the first install, you are unlikely to save time/money rebuilding yourself.
