Default Hybrid converter?

Anyone on here had any experience with or know someone who uses one of the hybrid 12"/10" converters a couple companies are selling now. It uses the 12" ring for the lockup and has a 10" converter attached to it. Hughes and PATC offer the only ones Ive seen. I guess its suppose to be a poor mans triple disc lockup 10" unit. The one PATC sells advertises 700 hp lock up rating and is available in 2500 to 4000 rpm stall speeds.
Im having a hard time figuring out a way to afford WOT lockup in a smaller, lighter 9" or 10 " diameter converter.

They work well. We use them in some combos. The larger 12" clutch AND piston IS fairly equivalent to a triple disc.

Whos converters have you had the most luck with in that style converter and ,in your opinion, are the ones you've used been on the tight side or loose for their rating? The last thing I want on this combo is a loose feeling converter as it is 90% street cruiser, 5% autocrosser, and 5% drag car.
Feel free to PM me, if you don't want to post up for all to see. Thanks again! Im going to have to put you on my Christmas card list, if you keep bailing me out, LOL.
