Default 2000 Trans Am installing trans temp gauge

I am about to have my 4L60e rebuilt with a mild stall and want to install a temp gauge. What are you using and where did you tap into? Thanks for any info... John

If you have a smart phone you can get an elm 327 obd to bluetooth adapter for $20 delivered and an app for $5 that lets you read trans temp, a couple hundred other things, and read and reset codes. Installs in 30 seconds too, Im very happy with this setup in my car.

Appreciate the info therabidweasel... was thinking about going with aeroforce obd2 for $249. Yours is definitely cheaper and covers what I need it to do.

Anytime man, its been the very best $25 ive spent on car parts.

I also got an iottie mount for my phone, really like it for the gauges in the hot rod and for real time traffic/police using the waze app in my DD. Ended up buying one for each hevicle.

Think I got mine off of Amazon (Blutooth connector) and use my android tablet/phone with the Torque app.
