Default Derale deep tranny pan + deep truck filter ?

I don't know if that would work or not since the derale has cooling tubes. I went ahead and bought the tranny filter for the trucks 24208576 and not sure now if it will work out.... Need help on this one.

Don't know specifically about Derale but when I
wanted to install the deep truck filter in my
super-deep TCI pan, I had to grind down the
four cast-in "prongs" that were there for the
car filter (so dropping the truck filter nicely
into the juice, which was the goal). If you see
some similar deal on the Derale this may be
what you have to do, too.

Don't think it will work then since the pan has the tube mid-way inside of it and they run accross.

Cool thx guys I went ahead and exchanged the filter for the camaro one I just changed my plugs today and let me tell you my arms look tired now. I have some small cuts and bruises and what not lol. I need to do the filter and pan on the tranny, engine oil, install EGT and AF gauges and finally my NOS brand wet kit. How much do you guys get car stuff done useally inside a week lol ? I am dead tired now but happy I have done plugs which took me 4 hours and !FRA + lid install this week and last week I took care of putting some 18*9.5 Z06 rims on 275/35 rubber.
