Default Trans cooler line routing? Line size?

Im trying to get all my ducks, or lines and coolers, in a row before the new 2004R gets here in a couple weeks and have a few questions about my possible setup.
I have 2 external coolers to go in front of the radiator because my radiator isn't set up with a cooler. The two coolers are Hayden 679 plate style and are 11" by 11" each. I am going to have to stagger them or stack one in front of the other. I know the top line going out of the trans needs to go into the lower inlets on the cooler. The main question I have is, should I run a 3 way tee, one for the in line from the trans, then the other two tees split to each cooler and the same out at the top back to the trans? Or run them in series ,trans line in the bottom of the lower cooler ,then out the top into the other cooler, then out to the trans?
My other question is, are my 5/16" lines large enough for the trans to transfer the fluid without a lot of restriction? The 2004r is rated to 750 HP, but Im only putting out a little over 500 at the crank, if that makes a difference. Thanks

I recall other similar threads and the consensus was that 5/16" is plenty. If you decide to use AN hoses, a size AN6 gives even more capacity.
This has nothing to do with the "rating" of the trans as the pump capacity is always the same. IIRC, even a 4L80E uses a 5/16" line stock.

Sorry, I have no knowledge of whether putting two cooler in series or parallel is better.
Perhaps someone has tried it both ways or has opinions.

Thanks mrvedit, I had never really given the line size much thought on any of my trans coolers in the past, but looking for a cooler on Summits site, I saw 6AN , 8AN and even 10AN cooler hookups! It just got me wondering if I was alright with 5/16".
Someone give me some feedback on the cooler orientation ?

Got it! Took 5 minutes to find the info in the stickies. Parallel is the answer. Thanks PontiacFan.
