yesterday i put in my Trans Cooler and a trans temp guage. it was very cool out last night so the car ran at about 175 degrees, and the trans was around 140. im not worried about the engine temp, but the trans temo seems very cool. does that sound about right 140?

What was the outside temp? In cold weather the tranny won't get very hot at all.

JAY, where did you get the tranny gauge and where did you tie it into the tranny to get the readings, Thanks

i ordered the guage from a local speed shop. i mounted it on the drivers side of the trans about a .25 of the way up. there is a bolt just sitting there. i have no idea what its purpose is, but i took that out and put the sending unit in there. threaded n perfectly! i have a write i can send to you that i found on another site.
