Default 4l80e no 4th or possible tcc apply?

Just got this thing on the road and I know its not acting right I'm just not sure how to pin point what it could be but looking for ideas on what to test in order to get a better idea of what's going on before I pull it...I know reverse works so I think its going into all gears up to 3rd...I know the 1-2 shift solenoid works because my Jakes trans brake is working. At light throttle <50% and 50ish mph it seems to flash all the way up to the 3200 stall speed before it starts to accelerate...this is my first non stock converter so I don't know if its supposed to do that or if its just really loose. I was the one that built this transmission and air checked all parts like Jake suggests so I don't think its a seal issue though but this is my first build.

I'm not sure what else to give for info but I will try to get it if you let me know...I just don't want to drive it more than I have to.

What are you using to control it?

Diagnosing an auto trans, especially an electronic one requires ALL the pertinent data. The control scheme is of greater importance to answer your question than the transmission itself.

You will need to tune out the misfire codes. Do you have any check engine light on?

No check engine light...I have hptuners to do so. I will fix the misfire detection. I have no transmission codes being thrown either at the moment

Ok so I fixed the misfire table but still doesn't lock up. I can't even get it to manually lock up with the on/off switch in hptuners. I pulled the pan and checked the solenoid and it does work when commanded by hptuners with the key on engine off. So what else should I test?

I also logged the input and output shaft rpms and it does seem to be going into 4th

Looks like the tcc valve inside the valve body was stuck...freed it up and seems to be applying the clutch now.

Revisiting this...i was wrong about the stuck valve fixing it. Its still doing the same thing on the highway at 50mph it requires the motor to rev up to 3k to start accelerating on flat ground. About to pull this transmission back out

OK,
I didn't connect your screen name to your real name.

Phones have been doing strange stuff this week with some of the extensions not ringing so it always makes me wonder what calls I may not be getting.

You can PM or email as well.

What I thought was no 4th was actually a stuck 2-3 shift valve in the transbrake...Jake told be how to fix the issue so hopefully that was all it is and the transmission works properly after I get it installed back in the truck
