Question 4L80e and 5.3L flexplate?

Can the 5.3L flexplate be used after drilling holes for the 6.0 TQ converter mounting pads and the gm spacer in between ?

I will try to take some pics tomorrow. Looks like there is 1/4 in space between the 5.3Lflexplate and a stock 4L80e TQ converter with it pressed all the way into the trans. I have elongated other flexplate holes to along with TH400 converters and used the spacer to center the converter snout with success. Tranny experts plz comment.
