4L60 from 3.8 to LS1

Obviously the bellhousing has to be swapped to use a 3.8 tranny in an LSX car, but is the pump/stator just a bolt-out/bolt-in?

That's all that has to be changed, right?

In short NO. The input drum, pump/stator and bell housing would all have to be changed:
