Default 4l60e bellhousing to oil pan quiestion.

I'm doing a custom build with a 1988 BMW e30. LM7/4L60E swap. I want to make a custom oil pan as the car is REALLY low. I want it to be front sump and wide for additional capacity and oil drain for the turbo. On the factory truck pan the bell-housing bolts into the back lower side of the oil pan in two places. Is this critical? I have looked at pans from Moroso, Autokraft ect and many of the aftermarket pans don't have a place for those bolts. Also from my sbc days I know that the th350/400 don't have bolt holes there.

Just curious on what you'll think.

Thanks!

People are running TH400 at 1000HP without those bolts; therefore I doubt they are critical.
