Default Jake's Performance Winter Specials and Updates

I'm going to make a pre-sale announcement for our Winter Specials.
We're going to do something a little bit different this year.

We're going to run a KILLER sale on Powerglides and TH400's. I haven't established pricing yet as I'm working with some vendors to get volume discounts on the parts to make this an even sweeter deal for the customer.
I should have some pricing in a few days.
I'm targeting the fast guys with this sale. 1000+HP deals.
If you fit into this category take note...

One of our local customers ran 4.54@160 with a 1.04 60 foot, broke the wheelie bar, etc. Our trans ran a better number than a popular big name builder in drag radial classes (and it worked out of the box).

The latest news is that we are finally building converters in house. We're offering cut/cleans, restalls, and custom built converters.

This will be an integral part of our sale. We'll be doing combination deals on the transmissions/converters.

Ron,
Yes. A good part of our customers are turbo combos using our 4L80E's, TH400's, or Powerglides, so we're targeting our transmission customers to be able to make package deals.

We're not planning on doing much in the way of "budget" type converters, mostly billet cover builds.

OK,
I ran the numbers and found that we need to alter the Powerglide pricing a bit, we actually need to slightly increase the prices on our more basic Powerglide builds. We're in the ballpark on the higher end builds and we have a bit of room to move.

Our Sportsman Powerglide OEM case, 1.69 or 1.80 straight cut gearset, dual ring billet servo, steel clutch hub, alloy input shaft in PG or Turbo spline, 6 clutch direct, Pro-tree transbrake, deep aluminum pan, all new frictions, steels, band, and brass screen filter. 900 HP capable.
It will be $1750 for the sale. These have been priced at $1900 and will go up to $2100 at the end of the sale.

Our Super-Competition model will include a new SFI rated one piece case, new tailhousing, new pump, 300M input shaft, 1.69 or 1.80 gearset, billet dual ring servo and cover, steel hub, Pro-Tree brake, 6-8 clutch direct (depending on power level), new band, deep aluminum pan. 1500+HP capable. $3300 for the sale. Usually $3650.
This is the build that ran 4.54 at 160 in a local drag radial car.

Our Pro-Glide is the all out build. New SFI rated case (available in 2 piece case for $150 additional), New pump with pro-mod stator and larger diameter input shaft, Pro-tree transbrake, new 8-10 clutch high drum, .169 or 1.80 gearset, billet dual ring servo and cover, wide band, heavy duty band pin, deep aluminum pan. This is for the 1500+ HP guys. Normally $4950, $4400 for this sale.

Free shipping on all the TH400 builds.

I can offer some better pricing on the Stage 4 or 5's.

1 week left on the Winter Specials.

I'm going to add Stage 2 4L80E's to the deal for the next week.

Stage 2, early core, free D1 transbrake, shipped for $2200.

That is free shipping ($150), free core ($250), and free transbrake ($300).
$700 savings.

We're at about a 2-3 week backlog right now and some of the builds are waiting for billet input shafts, so we're offering Stage 2 builds only on this sale.

Stage 2 TH400 already has free shipping, normally priced at $1450. We're going to offer them at $1350 shipped for the next week. Auto or full manual forward VB.

I've got a surplus of TH350 cores so we're going to do Stage 1 or 2 TH350's with a free core ($200 discount) and free shipping ($150). $900 shipped for a Stage 1.
We'll discount the Stage 2's to $1250 shipped since we are making our own Super Sprag drums for these.

Stage 2 4L80E kits are normally $750. $700 shipped.

Stage 2 400 kits are normally $450, $400 shipped.

4L80E Manual Control boxes are $150 shipped.

4L80E D1 Transbrakes. $350 shipped.

4L80E Billet Single Discs for $750

TH400, TH350, Powerglide forged cover, 800+HP converters for $625.

I'm making some major changes to the website soon to allow customers to purchase online and we're bringing a new inventory control system into the shop to help us track things better.

Shipping is to a business with forklift or loading dock in the cont. U.S.

Love my 4L80E, I think I'll be doing a JW bell housing in the future.

JW doesn't make a bellhousing for the 4L80E. We can install a SFI rated bellhousing (and others).

We just finished up a build for a Toyota Supra.

yep that's what I meant, I remember you developed a machined pump and case for a sfi bellhousing. Small world finding out you lived down the road from me in WA state, one of my friends on a oil rig said you spent some time out on a rig.
