Default 4L80E with TransGo Vacuum modulator questions

My 4L80 builder suggested i do the Vacuum Modulator with my build and i'm curious what else needs to be changed to get the kit to work and will my trans shift like it would normally? I'm just curious if it's worth it and if i should do that mod or not. Just want to know what else i need to change to get it to work and how it feels with DD the car. That's what a vast majority of my driving is...

I would follow the advice of your builder.
You didn't give enough information for an informed suggestion but if you are paying an expert to build it, why would you not listen to them?

Well between 2 builders I've talked to one says do it and the other said it'll be fine to run the solenoid that's why I asked. Car is daily driven in the summer and 99% a street car. Has a vrx5 cam roughly 420rwhp and a stock weight car.
