When shifting to reverse its ok but when i shift to neutral it stays in between neutral & D & then it just stays in between the rest of 3-2. Am i the only one with this issues?

The linkage plate that attaches to the trans pan probably shifted...

Before you tightened it did you make sure it went into every gear properly?

If the plate is a hair off it will cause shifting problems

Yes everything is tighten up.. I put it in park & then made sure it would clip on to the lever without struggling.. Moved it back & forth & nothing

Did you elongate the holes?

It has a sweet spot where everything lines up perfectly..

Tolerances stack up and sometimes it just won't line up, you have to drill more holes into the linkage bracket to adjust it..

Put it in park, connect the linkage..

Pull back on the linkage plate till its snug and that's where it needs to be bolted up..

If the holes in the plate don't match the trans pan then make a mark and drill new holes in the bracket..

You'll get it
