counterbore slip yoke 4l80e?

Default counterbore slip yoke 4l80e?

I spoke with Jake a while ago and he mentioned that if I have 3" of pline I would need a counterbore slipyoke, I went to go find out for myself and report back to Jake but Being that Jake is a busy man I figured I'd ask you guys if this is infact what I need.

Yes get a counter bored yoke, it will have the first 1.5" of spline missing so it can slip over that o ring on the output shaft

Dennys Driveshaft sells these under part# 2060662 for I believe approx 106.00+ shipping. Check out the website to be sure.

I went with a mark Williams chromoly th400 yoke $200 on their website

Search th400 yokes and make sure it's counter bored, it will specify in the description

Counter bored yokes are real common, won't be too hard to find

If you get ahold of jakes performance, he sells them

On the old 400's they had the raised part , don't know if it had an o-ring or not, they were for a 2 pc.drive shaft with a bolt on yoke. I have ground the high part down to shaft size and use a standard car yoke.

Yes you can machine the output shaft down and run a standard full spline car yoke..
