4L80E swap question regarding flexplate
Ok im pulling my hair out now.
I have a 4L80E out of a 1993 Suburban and i am using the stock verter out of that suburban.
I picked up a 6.0L FLat FLexplate from the scrappers.
I also have a GM spacer from when i had the 700R4 in the car.
NOw, looking at this flexplate, it looks like there already is a spacer in it. It is inserted from the engine side through the flexplate. And it looks identical to the spacer i already have but i cant push this spacer out of the flexplate.
So my question is do i install the flexplate with this factory spacer and then put my spacer on too?
Or can i eliminate the use of the second spacer?
I never realized there was a spacer already in this flexplate until i went to do the swap.
Help, i wanna get this trans in!

Chris. Thanks for your help. It is greatly appreciated. Just have to fab up a new trans crossmember and shorten the d-shaft.
I will be talking with you regarding a converter.
Thanks again.
Scotty.
