Default Shifter cable needs tighting after trans pan installed??

When the shifter is in park i can pull back on the shifter w/o hitting the brakes and it would move just enough to come out of park. This didnt happen till after the trans pan was installed. Its more like out of Park but not in Reverse. IS there a way to adjust the cable.

There's a snap adjuster down by the trans detent lever,
similar to the throttle cables.
