What would be a better choice for a mostly street car with nitrous? Also does the 4l65e use the same converter as the 4l60e? Thanks.

You can build a 4L60-E to BE a 65 if you want. There's just a few different parts. It's really just an updated version. The 5-gear planetary is the biggest change. The exact changes have been listed here in this forum a few times. Maybe the search button might turn up a couple of threads on this.
