Exclamation Car bogging down in all gears and wont do a burnout

Sorry for the lame title, just started having the problem today and dont really know what to do about it.

Its a turbo car, and im hitting boost, my afr is right, everything is on point, it just wont go anywhere. Im 90% sure my trans is going out, im not really sure how to tell, so i figured i would post here.

It shifts fine, so i think it might be the stall, but thats just a complete guess, i really have no idea. It holds at about 2.5k (which is what the stall is) and it wont go faster than that to do a burnout, it will spin just pretty slow. Also in each gear as i get on it it will basically feel like a stock car pulling even though its hitting 8psi.

this is my 3rd trans, this one has lasted me about 1k miles and cost 2600 bucks from some local guy that said it would hold 500 horse power to the wheels (i make 440)....... i know... i got ripped... but whatver, someone help me

I was just asking if your guys think its the trans, sorry for not being to clear.

i checked over everything all day, and couldnt find an issue with anything, then a random thought that it was the trans, but it was just a guess.

do you think it could just be the stall since it shifts fine and all

i would look at the engine tune, sum of the parts, rear end ratio, etc
sounds like maybe no low end power

That is an excellent suggestion!
Have you checked for codes?
I do not recall a single thread here where "low power" turned out to be the trans unless it is in limp mode and starting in 3rd gear.
So far I don't think there is anything wrong with the transmission itself.

sorry guys for the delayed response, i took to the trans shop and they said that it was fine, im going to pick it up in a bit.

i had the pc hooked up to it, no codes, have fuel and air, no knock, timing is on, idk what it is. I just adjusted the rocker arms in case it was the springs, but they are brand new so it wasnt that

There's also a chance you hurt the sprag in the converter.

If it starts more solidly in [D1] than in [OD] the forward sprag is suspect.

Am I the only one here who suspects the converter is bad?

its much stronger in 3rd gear than 1st, 1st is weak 2nd gets stronger and 3rd feels pretty much fine. my initial though was the converter but idk your the only guy to say anything with me

Sorry, I thought you were referring to the forward sprag in the trans. Just reading too many threads too quickly.
Yes, the sprag in the converter sounds like a good possibility.
Is there a way to diagnose that other than opening it up?

Awhhh hell mrvedit dont tell me that lol. That was the exact same symptom I was having in mine thinking that the trans go 1-2 valve was having issues.
Not trying to hijack, just making a connection. OP let us know what you find im interested to see, I might be in the same boat.
