Default Dipstick reads almost dry after WOT pulls

I've gotta 3600 stall with a trans cooler on my 2002 Z28. When I drive around town or normal highway driving my dipstick reads like I have an extra quart of fluid in it. If I do some WOT pulls it will read almost bone dry. All measurements have been done with the car at operating temp. I don't know if this is normal with an aftermarket stall/trans cooler or not. Any input is appreciated.

Sorry to ask this perhaps obvious question, but you are checking the level with the engine running?
I've never read anyone else reporting this, but I have never check fluid level at the track after a run.

Yupp, engine is running at operating temp and the trans fluid is checked after driving 10-15 miles of driving so I'd think the trans fluid is at or pretty close to operating temp as well.

Well, I don't have the answer then, no idea why it would read so low.
I hope to be at the track this week and will check the level after a run just to see.

Did you just recently put the transmission back in along with the stall?

Yea I put the stall in a couple months ago. I never checked the fluid level after running it hard before the stall was put in though. So for all I know it's completely normal. But I don't think it is.

I've got my Trans cooler set up after the radiator. Its not a very big trans cooler so I'm wondering if it's possible that the cooler is slowing down the fluid from returning to the pan. But idk a way to check that theory. I can't remember the exact cooler that I bought. I know it was from jegs for about $40 that was recommended by some members here. I'll try to find it and post it.

"Huge sigh" You are a retard. 18 posts on here and they are either smart *** comments or stupid statements like this. If you can't figure out why you are a retard for those statements then you shouldn't be posting advice.
