Haha we don't like the 6L80E from a design standpoint, it's a can of worms we're not to keen to open. We can build a sweet 6L80E converter though

Oh most definitely man, we've built many of those. The transmission in the pictures is actually a 4WD unit. Plenty of truck customers pushing some serious power without a hitch

Well it depends. For starters, would you rather swap it out with a whole new transmission or just repair the one that's already in it?

I just want one like the factory built it. I mean i want it to last the next 189k miles like this one has with proper maintenance

How much for a converter for boost app? I'm running a 402 and 94mm turbo with BTE Sportsman Powerglide turbo splined.

Well we don't really do any true stock rebuilds here, we don't trust 60Es enough for that

Our base build 4L60E is a pretty stout unit for what it is and very very reliable. It may throw some people off at first because our base build is priced higher than a lot of other people's base builds, but if you really stop and compare the parts lists you'll find our starter is more like other people's level 4 or 5 etc. It also uses very high quality parts such as the Sonnax SmartShell rather than the Beast sunshell, OEM BW dual metal cage 29 element sprag, wide carbon band and new A/C Delco reverse input drum standard, among other things. We have those priced at $1,800 + shipping but I'll knock $100 off for any LS1Tech members for a short time since we just debuted and I didn't think of any good "specials" ideas beforehand

Ah cool, I appreciate it man! I think JT sent you a text earlier or he meant to anyways. He had a question about your turbo setup IIRC.

We have a one year warranty on all transmissions and a 3 year warranty + 1 free re-stall for all torque converters

Here's a more complete overview of our warranty policy: http://northtexasconverter.com/?page_id=8302

Thanks man, we have a lot of confidence in our products so were aren't afraid to tell people straight up or to offer them a good warranty. The warranty is more to give potential buyers peace of mind, especially on something like a TH400 or an 80E build. We build things from mild applications like yours to 3,000hp Pro Mod PGs and converters

No prob man. He didn't, but tell him to call or text me any time. I would be more than happy to help him out. He has done a lot for me.

No worries, I fully understand. When the time finally comes for you to pull the trigger, just give me a call and tell me who you are and I'll honor the discount even if it has already passed
