Default Py3800

Im thinking about getting the converter, its designed for n2o but most of the time i will not be spraying the car, i was wondering how you guys think the car will do with it. the car right not is on 3.23 gears (i will keep) 315 drag radials, long tube headers, tuned by Robinson, lanes X pipe, and speedtek's F1 cam (specs are 230/226 .591/.569 114).

How much are you going to spray? For 125 shot or less, I'd go with an SS4000. Probably consider that even with a 150 shot. If you are going over 150, then a PY makes sense.

PYE 3600 is a nice converter. Performs like about a 3200/3400 NA from both a tightness and ET perspective.

i'm wondering more about those 315 DR's, are those nittos?? No way you will hook on those. I think the PY3800 is a good converter, only because I know someone personally who ran this converter. He is in the top 15 on the Quickest Stock Internal List (do a search in drag racing). He ran the car N/A many times but also sprayed it. His name on the board is DMcRacer.

Does anybody know how much YANK charges to restall a stall, i called but nobody answeres.

$100 to $200 but it depends upon the change. There is a limit to the stall speed change in some of their converter designs.

It's funny you would say that, beacause I just made a post earlier today about trying to get my PYE 3600 re'stalled. I have the damn thing out of the car and all boxed up ready to go, but I can't get anyone at Yank to answer the phone or return my calls. I'm actually getting quite pissed, because now the car is torn down and I'm stuck. I spoke with Mike @ Yank about 3 or 4 weeks ago, and he seemed easy to deal with...he quoted me
$150 to have it re-stalled. I told him it would be a couple of weeks before I was ready to send it to him. Now here I am ready to ship, and I'm SOL until somebody calls me back.
