Default Stall recommendation with tooley stage 3 cam

I called earlier today and was talking to them about their stage 4 cam. Based on my application they recommended the stage 3 na cam. I got all the other info except if my converter will be enough for the stage 3.

Rather than calling them again and bugging the **** out of them I figured I'd ask here.

So would my yank ss3600 and 4.10s do the job or am I going to need a 4000 like they said I would for the stage 4?

Yes it will work. How optimal is it vs. the accepted decline of street manners is all perspective. But yes it will work just fine.

seems very close to mine, it should be perfectly fine but a SS4000 would be better at the track if you had enough traction to hold it

as far as street manners though, if it's tuned remotely close (I tuned mine and I am an amateur tuner) it will be very drivable, especially with the deeper gears

So then let me ask this. I've already emailed Dave at yank about a restall. He gave me a quote, and the car is completely apart right now anyway. Being my goal is a 9 second street car (I drive it an hour to and from the track) do I bother with spending the $300 for the stall and shipping, or just go with what I have until I can swap to a th400 to hit my goal?

Thanks for the input guys.

If the car was apart, and you could afford the bill, I'd restall it in a heartbeat.

I agree. But depends on how soon you intend to swap transmissions IMO.

My car can dead hook and cut a 1.67-1.72 60ft depending on DA. For your goals you will probably want a deeper 60ft and the 4000 should get you down around 1.5s pending traction

Looking at a year maybe two. I tend to take my time gathering parts unless something breaks. I'll probably just send it out and have it restalled.

Thanks again fellas
