Default converter install

Installed my yank 3600, everything seems fine, wide open throttle is good, during average driving it's good except every once in a while, usually during lower rpm shifts it kinda feels like it just drops into gear, mild clunk I guess I would say. Mechanical issue or do you think it's a tune issue? I do have random lock up issues now with out it being tuned. Also I over filled my tranny so I just took a cooler line off and started it and pumped some out, would it be safe to say the converter is in right? My converter pad to flex plate was about 1/4 in. Any help or ideas would be awesome, hopefully it's a tune issue

If you didn't get it in right, the car wouldn't move and you'd have damaged things. Things don't fit well unless the converter is on the dogs.
