Default How are the trutech 60e rebuild kits?

My stock Trans finally bit the dust. With 400 ish rwhp it should have lol. My friend rebuilds Trans and said if I got a rebuild kit he's put it in for $100 if I help him. Soo how would this hold with cam/intake/100 shot?

I'll do the hd-2 kit aswell and I have the billet servos already with a huge *** Trans cooler on it.

I have recommended Trutech numerous times here and all members that have used these kits seem to be very happy with them. Hopefully some of those members will add their 2 cents. I always suggest calling owner (Jeff) and having him put together a custom kit for you instead of picking a kit off his website or ebay store. Since you are adding the Transgo HD2 shift kit and have billet servos, this might make a small change in the parts that Jeff recommends.

Note that the Trutech kits include 7 frictions for the 3/4 clutch. However, if you prefer 8 frictions, Jeff will include all the parts for the 8-friction 3/4 clutch setup that I have documented here many times and various members here have successfully built and used.

IMO, with all the parts you have indicated and your NO shot, your "weak link" will be the output shaft. Stronger Billet output shafts are available, but cost about $400. Sponsors FLT and (iirc) Jake can sell them to you cheaper than ebay sources.
