Default 2000 4L60E to 1997 4L60E Swap?

Hello, I have a 2000 Tahoe 4x4 with the 5.3L and 4L60E trans. The trans has started to show some signs of weakness after 164,000 miles and I have found a transmission on CL for a nice price with low mileage. The only problem the guy pulled it from a 1997 Suburban. The transmission has the two piece case with removeable bellhousing and it is setup for a transfer case. Will my computer in my truck communicate with the electrical of the 97' trans? (Everything else looks right and should bolt up)

FYI. I just got a 4l60e from Pull a Part for $75.00.
Of course, my son and I had to pull it out of the truck that it was in.
Took 1 1/2 hours to get it out.
This was for a 2 wheel drive Tahoe.
They do charge more for a 4x4.

97 was 5.7, and 2000 was LS based. I'd check into that one.
