TH400 opinion questionair
I am currently piecing to gether the item nessecary to complete my m6-th400 conversion and I am to the point where the only item i need now it the trans and was wondering what is best competition trans everyone is running. I was leaning towards a rossler with transbrake and manual valve body. Is there anything else i should conside when ordering? This transmission will see very min. if no street time at all.

Just ordered my entire M6 to A3 conversion kit from MadMan >>>> one our sponsors. Should be here next week, finally, hopefully to the track by next weekend. The kit comes complete from housing, tranny, converter, drive-shaft, cooler. Mine will also be a reverse-pattern, w/transbrake. The only thing that doesn't come with the kit is the shifter -- he recommended and I bought the turbo action shifter - nice piece.
Brian is known to build some of the wildest rides around. His kit didn't cost as much as the tranny price that rossler wanted.

I got my kit from Brian at Madman. Besides a shifter you will need a TCI Flexplate. He uses a TransKing Transmission in his kit. They are well known for being tough tranny's.
TCI/Rossler/FLP are all good transmissions, but you pay more for having one of thier stickers on your tranny.

All of the transmission shops mentioned have reputable work. I run a Rossler in mine and a few other people run Hutch transmissions as well. I would personally choose either of those two again any day.
