You obviously didnt notice those two wing nuts and the slots on the side, that
is there to tilt the bed of the jack. I actually raised the rear up higher than the
front since the trans has to drop down increasing the engines angle. With the
rear up higher the engine ends up being more level when lowered to get to the
transmission to engine bolts.

I did, and used them plus the wood. I'm not sure why they are dropped down in that pic. The Trans may have already been in and I just slid it back in for a demonstration pic lol.
