Default tranny rebuild... again

transmission started slipping in OD again... this is 300 miles after it was rebuilt for completely losing 3/4... which was <1000 miles after getting rebuilt for slipping in OD. any clue what the problem may be?

on the first rebuild, i got a SSF3500 and a B&M supercooler (24000) installed.

the builder says last time it ate up the 3-4 clutch packs... i'm suspecting its the same thing that happened tonight.

i just want it fixed, and would appreciate any insight into the situation...

thanks!

Before you tear into it again I would get a line pressure guage on the transmission and make sure the line pressure is being held at all times. If that checks out then I would look for a new builder.

the only reason i'm with the same builder is that its under warranty through him since the first rebuild. the second and now third are free to me.. i just lose my car..

and oh yea, forgot to mention last night, its doing two things that arent right
1)4th is slipping, and
2)the converter is locking and unlocking at highway speeds

i know its doing both because when it revs like its slipping, i can let off and sometimes the converter is locked (maintains rpm) and sometimes its unlocked (drops to idle rpm)
