Default LS3 flexplate needed for 4l60e

Are all LS 1 2 and 3 the same regarding flex plates to fit 4l60e. I have a stock ls1 fp but my tranny guy told me it won't work and too get a tci one. TCI advertises theirs to suit ls1 and 2 but doesn't specifically say 6.2 or ls3 that I can see? Any help greatly appreciated thanks.

Yes, all LS 4L60 flexplates are the same, they look different over the years but offset and ring gear location have remained the same. The only difference is the crank bolt pattern. You should have a 6 bolt. The LSA, LS9 and LSX can have a 8 or 9 bolt. FYI, we sell an SFI version if you need another option.
