can you run a 4l70 with ls1Ecu I have a 4l70 in my car and a stand alone harness was made by John. Im using the stock edu out of a LS1 and running 4L70 trans. I was told that this would not work? Car has about some miles on it and just spit out the trans on the dyno. Any ideas

What year is the 4L70E?
Around 2009 major mods were made that prevent it from working with any older ECU.
I installed a 2006 valve body on mine and this works with an LS1 ECU.
