Question Opinions on a good vendor for a rebuilt 4l60e

Can Someone give me opinions as to what vendor I can pick up a good rebuilt 4L60E for my 98 trans am? I would like a shift kit in it and maybe some "better than stock" upgrades without a crazy price? I appreciate any help I can get from experienced LS1 owners. I bought my first LS1- a '98' trans am last year and am just starting to get into modifying it!

I don't know your budget but I purchased my LEVEL II 4L60E from RPM Tramsmissions, I have yet to find anything negative about them. The shop rebuilding my engine would only recommend them, and from what I've read their bulletproof! You can also check out Finish Line Transmissions FLT(also top notch), and Performabuilt (great warranty)

Wheeling IL is within a few miles of sponsor and premier builder Finish Line Transmissions. That will save you shipping costs and you can bring them your existing trans and save core costs.

I went with a finish line level 3 in my car and it has been awesome since I put it in. Chuck is a great guy to deal with. I bought my trans and converter at the same time and had the converter shipped to flt and they tested it with my trans on their transmission dyno.
