please help my transmission is acting crazy My transmission is acting crazy. i had a previous issue that my car wouldn't go in reverse, so today i got my alternator fixed due to my voltage issue ,my transmission started going forward in reverse gear!!.
im going insane what could be the reason before i had p0700 and p0776
now there is nothing no codes
what could be the reason damaged valve body damaged solenoid , broken plate
please help me or guide me

Other than a broken/slipping shifter cable, I cannot think of any way that a 4L60E could go forward while shifted into reverse.
Of course you did not mention what kind of car and transmission you have.
