Default need help

I got a 94 z28 i swapped lt1 for ls1 im just about got it done having problem with torqe converter i have no space between flex plate and it i put in the tranny right it seated all the way but when the bell housing seats it wont spin freely the one thing thats differnt is its a standerd bell on a auto trans would that be a differnt size ?

what converter are you using? the LT1 converter will not work with the LS1..another thing if the converter doesnt spin freely its not seating all the way

Your post is hard to understand; I assume you swapped an LS1 engine into your older Z28.
What transmission are you using? What is it out of?
What converter are you using? What is it out of?
Your '94 trans and converter will not work with an LS1; not only will it not directly bolt up, but an LS1 PCM will not work properly with a '95 or older 4L60E.

Its a new converter for the ls1and its was seated before stapping the tranny

I used the motor and trans outta 2000 vet and bought a new converter and flexplat for it

Sounds like have compatible parts.
Did you put a straight edge over the bell housing and measure the distance to the converter pads? It should be 1-1/8", +/- 1/8".
I suspect the converter is not fully seated.
